ASU’s student chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) received a Commendable Award from the national ACS Committee on Education for the chapter’s activities during the 2016-17 academic year.
This marks the 13th straight year the ASU chapter has received a year-end award from the national ACS. Additionally, for the seventh straight year, the ASU chapter received a Green Chemistry Award for outreach activities from the national ACS Green Chemistry Institute. Only 56 chapters received a Green Chemistry Award for 2016-17.
