Lizz Gonzales has worked for an inpatient treatment facility as a Licensed Professional Counselor for a few years. She decided to establish her own practice to have more control over her schedule and workload.
She located an office for sale and sought out the services of the Angelo State University Small Business Development Center to help her establish her business and write a business plan to fund the startup and property purchase. Through their combined efforts, she filed for her LLC, EIN, and completed a business plan that enabled her to get the funding she needed to get her new counseling business going.
