Chris and Cheryl Deleon visited the SBDC with true entrepreneurship goals in mind. They were in the process of researching how to buy into the Fitness: 1440 Franchise and reached out to the SBDC advising team for assistance.
Over the course of a year and a half, the two worked to establish their business from the ground up. The team was available throughout the process to answer the start-up and financing questions Chris and Cheryl had along the way. The clients started with a great marketing plan and started signing up memberships to the gym before the doors opened, which generated a great deal of interest for the gym.
In February 2019, Chris and Cheryl opened the doors to Fitness: 1440. The SBDC team is excited for the new business owners and plan to continue assisting them as needed with any business management needs they may have.
