How did you learn about ASU?
I learned about ASU through family friends. Whilst they were visiting from the States I decided to go talk to them about schooling in the United States. They expressed their love for Angelo State and it just felt like it would be a home away from home…
Why did you want to attend ASU?
After obtaining the Carr Scholarship and comparing the costs of studying with other schools ASU was such an easy pick to pursue my Bachelor’s degree.
What is your favorite thing about ASU?
The diversity the University provides for the students: events, associations, community.
What are some of your hobbies?
I like to play tennis, watch tennis, swim, take walks, read books from inspiring people.

Do you work on campus? If so, where and what are your responsibilities?
Yes, Database Administrative Technician - Information Technology Department. Assist in managing the database and maintaining the integrity and availability of institutional data through secure and efficient storage, retrieval, and archiving processes. Assist in research and execution of the Oracle Database and Oracle Enterprise Manager upgrades. Execution of the University server and database upgrades. Assist in optimizing database performance across a wide variety of applications and users.
What is one piece of advice you would give to help college students succeed?
Strive to know more, in anything, sport, education, culture, environment, whatever is intriguing to you strive to learn about it. Knowledge is very essential in life to try grasping as much of it as you can.
