Requires the ability to perform procedures of moderate difficulty, and learn Library policies and procedures. Tasks range from shelving, shifting, and maintaining order of books, assisting patrons, answering phones, working on special projects, and other tasks as assigned.

Dependable and dedicated student who can work up to 20 hours per week including evening, late-night, and some weekend hours. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, people skills, public service commitment, and personal reliability. The nature of the work requires visual acuity, and a full range of motion including but not limited to standing, sitting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling book carts up to 300 pounds, and lifting up to 30 pounds.


Must be available to work over the summer. Hours are as early as 7:30 am and as late as 30 minutes past Library closing. This position requires working at least one closing shift per week, as well as some weekend hours. Approximately 13 – 20 hours per week, scheduled hours.
