Ross Baxter and his partners applied to the San Angelo Business Plan Competition to acquire early capital for their brewery and bar start-up business.

The clients were still in early start-up to raise capital. Each partner had invested some of their own money, but needed more to visualize the plan.

SBDC Advisor Alejandro Castanon worked with the clients to develop a fully completed business plan, and they eventually reached the final round of the Business Plan Competition. Although they did not win the competition, the work completed with the SBDC allowed them to raise venture capital funds. Plateau Brewing Co. is now fully open in the middle of downtown San Angelo and has recently extended its operating hours to meet demand.
