Gabrielle Miller and Danny Meyer of the communications and marketing staff were recognized for their work by District IV of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
Miller, a graphic designer, won a Gold Award for Design-Posters for her poster promoting ASU’s 2013 Holland-Harrell Foreign Affairs Speakers Program.
University Photographer Meyer earned a Bronze Award for Color Photography-People and Portraits for his photo “Reflection,” which depicted ASU student Haley Hernandez spotlighted on horseback carrying the U.S. flag during a moment of silence at the 2013 San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo.
The awards were announced at the CASE District IV annual meeting in Houston in April. CASE District IV includes colleges and universities in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
