Lieutenant Colonel Allan G. Fonseca serves as the Operations Officer and an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Angelo State University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 847. He is responsible for the education, training, and development of officer candidates into commissioned officers for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force.
Lieutenant Colonel Fonseca was commissioned through AFROTC Detachment 847 at Angelo State University in 2006.He has held multiple leadership positions in Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) operations, Spacelift operations, Crisis Action Teams, and Space Situational Awareness operations.His experience also includes staff assignments as an Executive Officer at the Group and Combatant Command levels, Branch Chief at the Major Command level, and Program Analyst at the Bi-National and Combatant Command level.
