SSgt Andrea Salazar

SSgt Andrea Salazar is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Personnel for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 847, at Angelo University, San Angelo, Texas. She is responsible for managing several areas of administrative support for the detachment, to include coordination with United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and Air Force Personnel Center in support of career progression for Air Force Officer Candidates. SSgt Andrea Salazar was born in Danbury Connecticut and raised in Wappingers Falls New York. SSgt Salazar has been with the Air Force for 5 years. Her first duty base was at the MPS at JBSA Randolph Air Force base in San Antonio Texas where is worked in Customer support, and Force Management. It was during her time at the MPS is when SSgt Salazar made the rank of Staff Sergeant. After three years at the MPS SSgt Salazar moved to her next assignment at the 19th AF unit as a Personnel Program Technician for one year before volunteering to come here.
