What advice would you give students about choosing a university?

Make sure the university you choose has a great sense of community; after all, you’re becoming part of it. Choose a school that best fits all the needs you may have. Don’t be afraid to ask all the important questions – don’t leave one unanswered before choosing your new home away from home!

Why did you decide to attend ASU?

Angelo State University is affordable, not too far from home, and has endless opportunities! When I first toured the campus and all the way up to orientation, Angelo State felt like a great community and a place I could call home. It was always my dream to become part of the Ram Family!

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus would be the University Center! It is the hotspot for student life on campus. From eating food, student organization meetings, shopping in the bookstore, and even previously working in the building, there is a lot of stuff to do!

What do you like about being an admissions counselor?

Being the Senior Admissions Officer means I can help people through the admissions process! The process can be scary (for students and their families) so it makes me happy when I can walk them through the process and help them find peace of mind. I am here to help in any way I can!
