What advice would you give students about choosing a university?

I would encourage everyone to take a good amount of time exploring information about any college they are interested in, stay open-minded about major and career possibilities, and visit campus to truly experience the community and environment you would be a part of. This is going to be your new home – make sure it is a great fit for you and a place that you can imagine yourself enjoying for the next few years and beyond!

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is anywhere outdoors! There are plenty of spots around campus to pause between classes and meetings to take in some fresh air, enjoy lunch with friends, observe campus life, or simply relax for a moment.

What do you like about being an admissions counselor?

I am so grateful for the opportunity to engage with prospective students and those who support them as they make important decisions about their futures and consider pursuing higher education. Throughout my high school and college experiences, I was lucky to have countless staff and faculty take time to share support, encouragement, patience, and guidance with me. I am incredibly proud to work with the next generation of students and support them throughout the college admissions journey!
