Mrs. Marcie Puckitt

My name is Marcie Puckitt, and I am the Writing Center Coordinator.

I grew up in San Angelo and received my Bachelor’s degree in Government from Angelo State. I spent five years working at the Texas Capitol and enjoying living in Austin. I was also lucky enough to travel and live overseas, working for a year in Edinburgh, Scotland and gallivanting all over Europe!

I decided to move back to San Angelo and continue my education, and I received my Master’s degree in English in 2010. After graduating, I was an English Instructor at Howard College for three years. I am so excited to be back at Angelo State, coordinating the Writing Center and teaching composition courses.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son, and our three dogs. In the tiny bit of spare time I have left, I like to cook, walk or run outside, and read historical fiction.
