What advice would you give students about choosing a university?

When deciding where to call home for the next 4 years, choose a university where you develop a sense of belonging to the school and to the community. Look for a university that has student organizations where you are able to grow as a person, make lifelong friends, and network. Choose a university that provides endless opportunities to build a better life for yourself. Remember, the time you spend in college is some of the best years of your life, so cherish every moment and invest in yourself!

Why did you decide to attend ASU?

I decided to attend ASU because of the amazing staff! Even though I was excited to start my Master’s Program, I had a lot of major-specific questions and questions about affordability. However, after meeting with ASU’s staff, they answered all my questions, and I knew I would be supported in all aspects of my educational and career goals. The added bonus is not only did I love my graduate experience with ASU but, I was able to graduate debt-free!

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the University Center (UC)! The UC is a fun, casual environment where you can find all the best eating spots and you can even stop by Starbucks for your pick-me-up coffee. While I’m at the UC, I love stopping by the bookstore where I always find the best ASU shirts. What I also love about the UC is that students can stop by the Student Involvement Office to learn about all the ways to get involved on campus.

What do you like about being an admissions counselor?

I am grateful for the opportunity to extend a helping hand to incoming students as they learn about becoming a member of the Ram Family. I understand that the journey to find a University that fits your needs is tough but, as an Admissions Counselor, I will provide you with lots of support! I am here to help you succeed as you make your dreams become a reality!
