“I applied because of the positive experience I had under my own peer mentor. I love to help people by acting as a guide in new or unfamiliar situations. I’ve always found the idea of being a peer role model enticing, and I have generally been a good student who could spare the mental and emotional capacity to help others who were struggling with their transition. I wanted to help freshmen have as good a college transition as I did.”
