Ms. Jennifer Barrientos, M.Ed.

Jennifer Stephens, the first in her family to attend college, earned a B.A. in Communication & Theatre, a M.A. in Communication Systems Management, and an M.Ed. in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education; all of which are from Angelo State University.  She has been with ASU since 2001 and helped start up the Norris-VIncent College of Business’s Center for Student Success.

An honorary lifetime member of Delta Sigma Pi, a national business fraternity, Jennifer is also a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors (NACADA).  She also coordinates B.E.R.T. (building emergency response team) for the Rassman building.

Jennifer enjoys reading, cooking and gardening.  As a certified Master Gardener, she volunteers with the organization promoting topics such as rainwater harvesting and composting.  She is also a member of the People Plant Connection and sponsor of the Children’s Adventure Garden at the Southside Rec Center on Ben Ficklin.
