Bibliography of materials, selected and annotated by scholars, published worldwide in the field of Latin American studies. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, the multidisciplinary and multilingual Handbook alternates annually between the social sciences and the humanities.

Free digital state encyclopedia developed by the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) for students, teachers, scholars, and the general public. The Handbook consists of overview, general, and biographical entries focused on the entire history of Texas from the indigenous Native Americans and the Prehistoric Era to the state’s diverse population and the Modern Age. These entries emphasize the role Texans played in state, national, and world history.

Born from the partnership of major research institutions and libraries, the Digital Library is a repository providing preservation and access services to digitized content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives.  Anyone can view for free items in the public domain, and search for items held in copyright. Downloads are available only to partner institutions.

This resource provides access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines, including American Fitness, Better Nutrition, Fit Pregnancy, Harvard Health Letter, Men’s Health, Muscle & Fitness, Prevention, Vegetarian Times, and many others. It also includes searchable full text for more than 1,000 health-related pamphlets and more than 130 health reference books.

Additionally, this database contains more than 4,500 Clinical Reference Systems reports (in English and Spanish); Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names; and Merriam-Webster’s Medical Desk Dictionary.
