Established in 1972, NCJRS is a federally funded resource offering justice and drug-related information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide. NCJRS is sponsored by a partnership of Federal agencies from the U.S. Department of Justice and the Executive Office of the President.

This resource includes one of the largest criminal and juvenile justice libraries and databases in the world, the NCJRS Abstracts Database. The collection, with holdings from the early 1970s to the present, contains more than 210,000 publications, reports, articles, and audiovisual products from the United States and around the world. These resources include statistics, research findings, program descriptions, congressional hearing transcripts, and training materials. The abstracts include the title, author, sponsoring agency, purchasing address, and journal citation, as well as a 100- to 200-word summary of the document’s contents.

Provides access to 3+ million (over 800,000 full-text) authenticated U.S. government-sponsored technical reports collected and archived by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). This collection contains both historical and current reports on a wide variety of subjects including: Agriculture, Atmospheric Sciences, Business & Economics, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Health Care, Mathematical Sciences, Medicine & Biology, Military Sciences, Natural Resources, Physics, and more.

A statistical website that aims to facilitate the comparison of publicly available data on all countries of the world. A wide range of demographic indicators is covered, including literacy rates, taxation levels, and murders per capita. These are also available in pie charts, scatterplots, and correlation graphs.

Data is gathered from sources in the public domain, including national censuses, the United Nations Development Programme, the UNESCO Institute of Statistics, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the World Trade Organization, World Bank Development Indicators, the World Resources Institute, the World Health Organization, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (UNCTAD) reports, and the Central Intelligence Agency World Factbook.
