Library Databases

Collection of more than 2,000 historic photographs spanning the late 19^th to mid-20^th centuries.  The images, digitized from the holdings of the West Texas Collection (the special collections department of the Porter Henderson Library) pertain mainly to West Texas with an emphasis on San Angelo and the surrounding area.  This digital collection was made possible by a “Train to Share” grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC).

This resource provides national-level information on countries, territories, and dependencies, but not subnational administrative units within a country. Also included are entries on parts of the world whose status has not yet been resolved (e.g., West Bank, Spratly Islands). Specific regions within a country or areas in dispute among countries are not covered.
