    Dr. J. Bruce Moring, an assistant professor of biology at East Central University in Oklahoma, was one of five ECU faculty members chosen for inaugural Summer Research Opportunity Awards for the Oka’ Institute. He participated in an eight-week sessions as a research professor at the institute.

  • Eric Cole Class of 1993

    Eric Cole won national titles in the Weight Throw and Super Weight Throw events and placed second in the Shot Put, all in the 45-49 age bracket, at the 2019 U.S.A. Track & Field Masters Indoor Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C., in March 2019. Then in July 2019, Cole won national titles in the Shot Put, Discus, Hammer Throw and 35-Pound Weight Throw events and placed third in the Javelin Throw at the USATF Masters Outdoor Championships in Ames, Iowa. Cole is a former All-American thrower for the Rams.
