    The College of Business has been named one of the nation’s 64 Best Business Schools for Veterans by the Military Times organization in its Best for Vets: Business Schools 2014 rankings.

  • Criminal Justice Ranked

    ASU’s online master’s degree program in criminal justice has been ranked one of the top programs in the U.S. for 2014 by, an educational website that ranks online degree programs in all disciplines.

  • CSS e-Journal

    The Center for Security Studies (CSS) in April debuted its new electronic publication, the e-Journal of Homeland and National Security Perspectives, which is available for free public viewing.

  • Education Program Ranked

    ASU’s master’s degree program in educational administration has been ranked as one of the “Top 15 Best and Most Affordable Graduate Educational Leadership Programs” in the U.S. by, a career advancement website for educators.

  • Regional Champs

    Women’s intramural basketball team WT Impact won the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Championship Series regional basketball tournament in March at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.

  • ROTC Excellence

    Air Force ROTC Detachment 847 received a rating of Excellent on its 2014 Unit Compliance Inspection (UCI) performed by a team from the Holm Center for Officer Accession and Citizen Development, based at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.

  • Stripes Scholarships

    ASU received a $34,000 gift from Stripes Convenience Stores in May through the Stripes College Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for deserving ASU students, beginning in the 2014-15 academic year.

  • Tri-Beta Tops

    For a record eighth time and for the fourth time in the last nine years, ASU’s Epsilon Sigma chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) biology national honor society received the Lloyd M. Bertholf Award as the top chapter in the nation for the 2012-13 academic year.
