Club Café to Feature Diverse Music of Alex Bach

Singer and songwriter Alex Bach will bring her "pop with an attitude," as she describes it, to an Angelo State University Club Café performance at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 25 in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center of the Houston Harte University Center.

The Club Café performance is open to the public. Admission is $1.

Bach's music and lyrics are influenced by her fluency in five languages. Bach comes by her international flair quite naturally, infact, genetically. Her father is from French Tunisia and her mother is American. She was born in France, lived there and then later in Abu Dhabi, Germany and finally the U.S.

She grew up speaking French and Arabic and later picked up English, German and Spanish. These languages in turn have influenced her approach to music and life.

While Bach may be heard singing in multiple languages, her emotional and evocative songs speak of life in its most personal and honest form. Ultimately, Bach hopes to impact people's lives through themessages in her songs.

Her ASU appearance is sponsored by the University Center Program Council Entertainment Committee. For more information call 942-2062.
