Girls and their moms at Girl Power 2018

Girl Power

Girl Power 2019 will be the 8th annual Girl Power. The mission of Girl Power nonprofit program is to engage 4th- 7th grade girls and their mothers (or other important women in their lives) to help improve self-esteem, activity level, nutrition, internet safety, and communication with each other. Past attendees have reported an increased mother daughter bond, better communication skills, and stronger tools for overcoming conflict in their relationships.

Last year our featured speaker included Miss Texas, Madison Fuller and also author and blogger, Stephanie May Wilson. Held at the McNease Convention Center, the program included keynote speakers, fun breakout sessions for girls and moms, gifts bags, lunch, door prizes, free photos, and much more.
