Guys Night Out
Guys Night Out is a free event aiming to raise awareness about physical, mental, and emotional health for women during their college years. Set in a fun and interactive environment, this event provides an opportunity for college men to learn new skills to stay set healthy boundaries, set strong goals, and make good personal choices while in college. Students, staff, and faculty at Angelo State University and Howard College, as well as men stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, are invited to attend.
This years motivational speaker and author, Inky Johnson will be the keynote speaker. Inky suffered an injury during a college football game which left him with paralysis in his right arm. He used the experience to advocate for the disabled and write the autobiographical book Inky: An Amazing Story of Faith and Perseverance. Inky has a master’s degree in sports psychology from the University of Tennessee. He devotes much of his time to mentoring athletes and underprivileged youth. He and his amazing wife Allison live in Atlanta, Georgia with their beautiful children, Jada and Inky Jr.
Other speakers include Catie Wiedenhofer who is a National R.A.D. Men Instructor and magician Bryan Drake. Bryan’s quick wit and dry sense of humor combined with crowd interactive illusions and mentalism causes the audience to quickly realize that what they see and are led to believe is not always reality.

The event is free and open to all college students, faculty, and staff at Angelo State University and Howard College, as well as men stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
