Student’s Financial Obligation Policy
Students are expected to meet financial obligations to the University within the designated time allowed. Registration fees are payable by the due dates specified in the registration instruction bulletin, and students are not entitled to enter class or laboratory until their fees and deposits have been paid. Housing and food charges are payable by the due dates specified in the registration instruction bulletin. Failure to pay the amount owed in the allotted time may result in any or all of the following:
- Dismissal from the University.
- Withholding of future registration privileges.
- Withholding the issuance of an official certified transcript.
- Withholding the conferring of a degree.
Students who owe the University money will have a “hold” placed on their account by the department they owe. The Student Accounts Office serves as the university’s collector of any past due or past term debts for the following:
- Tuition and fees
- Emergency loans
- Returned checks
- Damaged property
If you have a Fiscal hold on your account, please contact the Student Accounts Office:
