Adobe’s Captivate automatically records all onscreen actions and instantly creates an interactive Flash simulation. Users can point and click to add text captions, narration and e-learning interactions without any programming knowledge.
In Captivate, Flash export is now an integrated feature, not a separate module, so all Captivate projects can be directly exported into Flash. The software has the ability to record onscreen actions quickly and easily, then import the resulting Captivate SWF files directly into Flash for further enhancement, ActionScript coding or integration into a larger project.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to visit e-Learning, located in Room 106 of the Mathematics-Computer Science Building, to use our computers that already have Captivate installed, get help with learning more about the software or receive help ordering a copy of Captivate for their department. Faculty and staff can also call e-Learning at (325) 942-2334, ext. 6263, for more help.
