14th Annual Phil George Blue & Gold Dinner and Auction Presented by Crockett National Bank

The 14th annual Phil George Blue & Gold Dinner and Auction presented by Crockett National Bank is coming up! Friday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. will be an exciting evening for the Ram Family. The Blue & Gold Auction is our biggest Ram Club Fundraiser, benefiting student-athletes by providing funding for scholarships, enrichment and recruiting for Angelo State Athletics. This is your chance to meet ASU coaches and many of our outstanding student-athletes.

The Blue & Gold Auction is a night to remember that starts with a silent auction, followed by dinner and an exciting live auction. With all the new experiences and items up for bid, this year’s live auction will not disappoint!

  • Mayer Press Box Suite Experience, Item #01

    Enjoy Angelo State Ram Football from the comfort of a suite in the brand new Mayer Press Box as the Rams take on the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds on Saturday, Nov. 3. You’ll get the inside scoop with access to the field and locker room. Begin the evening on center field for the coin toss! (Suite to accommodate up to 10 people.)

  • Texas-Sized Hall Tree by Dr. Don Topliff, Item #02

    Handmade by our own provost and vice president, Dr. Don Topliff, this Texas sized hall tree is one of a kind! The center pole is Hill Country Cedar. The antlers around it are extremely rare and come from White-Lipped Deer, native to China, found on the Harkey Ranch, south of Christoval. Fewer than 150 of this breed exist in the United States, and the Harkey Ranch maintains the largest herd of White-Lipped deer in North America. These sheds are the first ever released from the ranch for this unique piece only. The tree is topped with antique railroad spikes retrieved from the Rock Island rail line in Western Kansas in the 1960s.
