President’s Circle

ASU President's CircleOriginally created as the Honorary Alumni Association in 1967, the President’s Circle is dedicated to helping advance the mission of ASU. President’s Circle members include alumni, faculty, staff, community/business leaders and friends of ASU who contribute $1,000 or more annually to provide the university with the discretionary funds critical to reacting immediately to challenges and opportunities while providing an excellent education to ASU students.

During the 2011–12 school year, President Circle members provided funding:

  • To help purchase equipment for the nursing program’s High Fidelity Simulation Lab, the Kinesiology Department’s Human Performance Lab and the psychology program’s Mobile Research Lab
  • To the Teacher Education Department for the Early Childhood Education Program to purchase materials and create opportunities to enhance students’ understanding in early childhood education
  • For a field trip to Los Alamos National Laboratory for physics students
  • To the Center for Innovation and Teaching Research to support faculty retention initiatives.
