Database Description
EBSCO ebooks EBSCO’s ebook collection consists of thousands of scholarly, reference, and professional full-text books in electronic format from the world’s leading university presses and commercial publishers. Only one person at a time can use each title. If 15 minutes elapse without active use, the book is “put back on the shelf ” for the next user to access.
EconLit Access is limited to a maximum of 4 simultaneous users.
As the electronic database of the American Economic Association, EconLit™ provides citations and abstracts of articles in all fields of economics, including capital markets, country studies, econometrics, economic forecasting, environmental economics, government regulations, labor economics, monetary theory, urban economics and much more. EconLit uses the Journal of Economic Literature classification system and controlled vocabulary of keywords to index six types of records: journal articles, books, collective volume articles, dissertations, working papers, and full-text book reviews from JEL.
Economia y Negocios The result of a collaborative effort between EBSCO Publishing and ESAN (Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados), this continuously updated bibliographic database is an indispensable tool for research conducted in the areas of business and economics in Spanish.
Education Source Extensive collection of education-related resources. Includes full text for more than 1,700 journals, 550 books and conference papers, citations for over four million articles including book reviews and over 100,000 controlled and cross-referenced names of educational tests. Coverage in Education Source spans all levels of education from early childhood to higher education and also includes educational specialties such as multilingual education, health education and testing. Subject matter includes Adult Education, Continuing Education, Distance Learning, Government Funding, Multicultural/Ethnic Education, Social Issues, Student Counseling, Vocational Education as well as many others.
Educational Administration Abstracts Includes bibliographic records covering essential areas related to educational administration, including educational leadership, educational management, educational research, and other areas of key relevance to the discipline. Records are selected from many of the top titles within the discipline, including Journal of Educational Administration & History, American Journal of Education, and Cambridge Journal of Education.

At this site you will find over 500 databases and Web sites containing information and resources pertaining to science and technology, with an emphasis on the physical sciences.
Entrez Entrez is a query and retrieval system developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). You can use Entrez to access several linked databases hosted by the NCBI.

E-PRINT Network A vast, integrated network of electronic scientific and technical information created by scientists and research engineers active in their respective fields, intended for use by other scientists, engineers, and students at advanced levels. A gateway to over 24,600 Web sites and databases worldwide, containing e-prints in basic and applied sciences, primarily in physics but also including subject areas such as chemistry, biology and life sciences, materials science, nuclear sciences and engineering, energy research, computer and information technologies, and other disciplines of interest to DOE.
ERIC (via EBSCOhost) Educational Resource Information Center, contains more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.
ERIC (via FirstSearch) Journal articles, papers, reports, speeches, dissertations, and non-print media relating to education, including adult, career, and vocational education, counseling and student services, disabilities and gifted education, higher education, information and technology, elementary and early childhood education, rural education and small schools, teaching and teacher education, assessment and evaluation
ERIC (via ProQuest) Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, this database provides extensive access to educational-related literature. The ERIC database corresponds to two printed journals: Resources in Education (RIE) and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE). Both journals provide access to some 14,000 documents and over 20,000 journal articles per year. In addition, ERIC provides coverage of conferences, meetings, government documents, theses, dissertations, reports, audiovisual media, bibliographies, directories, books and monographs.

European Views of the Americas: 1493 - 1750 Bibliographic database of European works that relate to the Americas. This database contains more than 32,000 entries and is an extensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750. It covers the history of European exploration as well as portrayals of native American peoples. A wide range of subject areas are covered; from natural disasters to disease outbreaks and slavery.
