Students who do not meet the renewal requirements by the end of the spring semester may reinstate their Carr Academic Scholarship by taking classes during the successive summer classes at Angelo State. Students who do not meet the renewal requirements by the end of the academic year (fall/spring/summer) will lose eligibility for their Carr Academic Scholarship.

  • Summer classes must be taken at ASU — courses cannot be transferred from another school.
  • Students taking summer classes at ASU must correct all deficiencies in order to reinstate eligibility for the next academic year.
  • Students have until the end of the summer term to reinstate eligibility before the fall semester begins. Students who do not meet the renewal requirements are no longer eligible for their Carr Academic Scholarship.
  • Students who withdraw may be required to reapply to the university. Students who have to reapply are no longer eligible for their Carr Academic Scholarship.
