Angelo State University will kick off the 2019 fall semester Aug. 21-25 with its annual Rambunctious Week! We can’t wait for you to experience the wide variety of activities designed to help you make the transition to college life, as well as welcome back our returning students.

    Friday, Aug. 23

    • 10:00am, Testing Center, Vincent Building, Room 291
      TSI Testing (Three Testing Times Available)
      TSI testing will take place for anyone who needs it.

      Take action and protect yourself with this fun physical skills training and  “Stay out of - Jeopardy” Trivia!

      If you were in foster care and received notice of this session, please join us for an overview of potential benefits and life skills.

      Hosted by ASU Spiritual Life, First Sunday is a time to help students make connections through our campus ministries to our local churches.

      Baja Taco Bash Hosted by Rams for Christ
      One day left! Come and enjoy a free deluxe taco lunch and festivities at the ASU Caf Green.

    • 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Houston Harte University Center
      Locate Your Classrooms
      First-year/transfer students can bring their schedules and Rambassadors will take them as groups to show them their course locations.

      Welcome Back Picnic
      The Welcome Back Picnic is held to welcome all Angelo State students back to campus.

      Girls Night Out
      Girls Night Out is a free and fun event that includes dinner, keynote speakers and prizes. This year’s event will feature two keynote speakers, Jordan Lee Dooley and Hanna Seymour.

    Tuesday, Aug. 27

      Guys Night Out
      Guys Night Out is a free and fun event that includes dinner, keynote speakers and prizes. This year’s event will feature two keynote speakers, Damon West and Jody Holland.

  • Parents

    We kick off Rambunctious Week activities on Wednesday to help give students and parents time to get moved in and take care of financial obligations before the semester starts. Here are a few resources to help your student transition to college life:

    Paying Tuition and Fees: Get instructions about how to set up a parent or guardian to make payments on your student’s behalf.

    Ram Family Connection: Learn more about ASU’s parents and families organization and sign up for our monthly newsletter.

    Campus Resources: Read about ASU’s available resources so you can help your student be successful.

  • Additional Information

    Some events at Rambunctious Week require a release agreement in order to participate. You can print and bring your agreement with you, or simply fill one out at activities where one is needed.
