The size of an individual message is limited to 25 megabytes, including attachments. If you need to share files larger than 25 MB, consider using a compression utility like WinZip, or learn about other options for sharing large documents.
Your mailbox size is limited to 50 GB. If your mailbox exceeds 20 GB, you will begin to receive warning messages from the System Administrator. These messages are automatically generated, so you may receive more than one. Generally you should do the following:
- Empty your Deleted Items folder
- Remove unwanted mail from your Sent Items folder
- Deleted unwanted messages with large attachments
- Archive your messages
To help reduce the amount of spam in your inbox, ASU provides anti-spam services to all faculty and staff.
