Welcome to ASU’s Testing Center
The mission of the Angelo State University Testing Center is to meet the needs of the ASU community and the Greater Concho Valley by providing national and state standardized testing and proctored testing, both paper-based and online. The Testing Center helps support the institutional mission of Angelo State University by promoting the intellectual growth of students and members of the community outside the formal setting of regular course work. The Testing Center subscribes to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test Centers
Location and Operating Hour
The Angelo State University Testing Center is a Student Services department under the Division of Academic Affairs. The Testing Center is located on the second floor of the Vincent Building in Room 291.
The normal operating hours for the Testing Center are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, many of the national tests are administered on Saturdays.
The ASU Testing Center observes all University closures as well as any University delay of opening due to inclement weather, natural disaster, or otherwise as announced by Angelo State University or the Texas Tech University System.
Schedule a Test
The Angelo State University Testing Center is an “open” testing center. Examinees do not have to be ASU students to utilize the Testing Center.
To schedule a test in the Testing Center, refer to the “Available Tests” webpage for the respective exam. Exam dates/times and registration differ per exam.
An examinee requesting accommodations for any testing through the ASU Testing Center should contact the Testing Center at email@example.com. For Angelo State University students - Letter of accommodation, provide by Student Disability Services, must be emailed at the time of scheduling. Examinees not attending ASU - Attach copy of diagnosis and recommended accommodations as provide by the medical examiner/physician when emailing. Requests for accommodated testing must be submitted, at minimum, seven business days prior to the scheduled exam.
