Texas Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
The TEAS is an examination designed to measure reading comprehension, English skills (such as grammar and punctuation), reading rate, basic math skills and science knowledge. TEAS is the required entrance exam for the ASU nursing program, as well as a required entrance exam for Nursing and Allied Health programs at numerous colleges/universities.
The health and wellness of Angelo State University’s students, faculty and staff are top priority. In order to limit the spread of COVID-19 and safeguard the health and well-being of our campus community, the ASU Testing Center is temporarily closed. All on-campus examinations are suspended until further notice.
Students applying to Angelo State University’s Nursing program are encouraged to utilize the remote proctoring option for TEAS testing during this time. The dates listed below are for remote proctored examinations only.
